NAMING · VERBAL IDENTITY · COACHING

Nothing changes until you can see it clearly.

Naming brings it into focus.

Naming brings it into focus.

Naming brings it
into focus.

I help brands, teams, and people name what’s under the surface so it can be claimed, challenged, or changed.

Part strategist, part writer, part coach, part pattern-spotter. I work by feel, ask a lot of questions, and help people find the language for what they already know but haven’t fully named yet.

THE THROUGHLINE

This is all the same work, really.

A changing brand. A stuck team. A person in transition. Different contexts, same instinct.

I tend to dive straight into the messy middle, sense what’s really going on, and find the thread. Then I help turn it into something clearer, truer, and more usable.

Sometimes the right words don’t just describe what’s true. They open up what happens next.

CURRENT TALK

Naming the Fear

The unspoken human and relational dynamics of the naming process.

Jed Rendleman and I are getting into how fear shapes creative decisions, what it does to the relationship between namer and client, and how to work with it rather than letting it run the room.

We’ll share practical tools to help namers work with fear, build trust, and help clients make bold, confident naming choices.

NAMING
THE FEAR

I’m Rachel.

A verbal identity director, namer, coach, speaker, and curious multi-hyphenate human.

I’m good at sensing what’s really going on, finding the pattern, and putting language around things that are still a little fuzzy. I listen hard, follow the interesting thread, and get to the heart of things quickly.

I love eclectic people, useful frameworks, strong instincts, weirdly specific questions, and the moment when something suddenly clicks.
